Kaliningrad. Suitcase.
In previous episodes, our heroes left early, lost time, got stressed by choosing car sharing, and lost documents. We pass the mic to Alina and listen to her stream.
So, while discussing how Arseniy would get there after finding (or not finding) his driver’s license, the phone rings and a strict voice asks me: "Are you flying?" Vlad and I run toward our gate, getting confused by stairs and exits, and finally reach it. We are the last to board under strict looks from all passengers. I checked Moscow-Kaliningrad tickets: none left for today.
The flight went perfectly. For one hour and twenty minutes I disconnected from the whole situation, looked forward to vacation, and read a book. After landing it felt like things were finally getting better. We got our suitcase first, never got luggage that fast from the belt before. I text Arseniy. He says he found the license, returned to the airport, and even bought a ticket for a flight. Today. Even though there were supposedly none.
I called my mom, told her we landed, and gave her a riddle: "three gathered, two arrived." I told her about the incident and got the comment: "well, you are a perfect pair." On that optimistic note, Vlad and I walked to the taxi booking desk. Taxi arrived quickly, they gave us a receipt, and the driver led us to the car in airport parking.
Then I look at Vlad and ask: "Where is our suitcase?"
