This is Arseniy at the mic. I had an idea to raise the topic "35 years of programming." I wrote my first program in April 1990, on a sheet of paper during literature class. I have a lot of memories around this.

A then-unseen beast: a laptop my father brought home for two weeks. The House of Culture and Creativity on Polyanka where I went to program in MSX Basic. Work at Fizbar at VDNKh, trying to jump to a computer and type a program while someone stepped away for five minutes. A collection of tiny 5-line programs drawing something beautiful. Informatics on the 13th floor of Moscow State University, and how I missed the strongest olympiad programming coach.
