Relocation. Yerevan and Armenia.

pros

Pros and cons of life in Yerevan. Part 2

✍️ Quality fresh meat. Large choice of pork, chicken, and beef. It can be expensive, sometimes more than Moscow prices, but more on that later.

✍️ Many accessible attractions. If you want to see mountains, monasteries, or Lake Sevan, and relax in a quiet hotel away from the city rush, about one hour of travel is often enough. This is very convenient. Tourist areas have many cozy hotels for different budgets. You can use taxis or trusted local drivers.

✍️ Yerevan attractions. This topic could fill many posts. There are many museums: History Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Saryan Museum, Khachaturian Museum, Komitas Museum, and many more. Even after living here two years, we still have not visited all of them. Yerevan hosts exhibitions and festivals. For example, in June there is a wine festival: always lively, fun, and delicious. Several central streets are closed so pedestrians can walk and taste local wine and food.

✍️ Nature. Nature here is extraordinary; mountain landscapes are stunning and mesmerizing. We are lucky that our school often organizes mountain hikes, so hiking has become a regular activity and we still enjoy it.

✍️ High quality of restaurants and cafes. The city center is busy and touristy, and you can find places for any taste: from sushi to traditional Armenian cuisine. Evening Yerevan is especially charming and cozy.

✍️ Views. Besides remarkable man-made landmarks like Cascade, Yerevan also has breathtaking natural viewpoints. We love walks in the Hrazdan river gorge for unique scenery. And on the bridge leading to Davtashen, the view is truly breathtaking.
