Jermuk. Deer. The road back.

Yandex Taxi doesn't work in Jermuk, so we arranged our departure in advance with the same driver. The road back cost 28,000 dram. Since the transfer was private, we asked to stop at a few places we hadn't yet managed to take in.

The symbol of the town. The first point was the famous deer statue. From the viewing platform by the monument, there are simply stunning views of the surroundings.

The secret "Margaritka" (Daisy). Then we drove to a very interesting place with the spy-like name "Margaritka". The location turned out to be as colorful as it was guarded. We managed to look at everything, but the guards strictly forbade taking any photos for memory's sake. So we make an exception and give a link to someone else's photo. Searching for "Jermuk margaritka" you can find many photos and videos of this spillway in action.

A popular question - what happens if you fall in. A fascinating 48-kilometer journey through the underground "Arpa-Sevan" tunnel awaits you; it's recommended to practice holding your breath a little. The destination is Lake Sevan. The tunnel was built in Soviet times, when it was discovered that Lake Sevan was getting shallower. It was a construction project of all-union significance. These days something like that would hardly be pulled off.

A pleasant finale. On the other hand, the photo clearly shows our haul of treats and souvenirs that we're taking home with us from this wonderful trip.
Jermuk, thank you for the hospitality!
