Yerevan

Yerevan has many bilingual signs. While walking around and looking at the city, you can gradually dive into the Armenian alphabet. At first we just noticed them; now we intentionally "hunt" for them. Today we have a road sign with the city name itself: Yerevan - Ե-Ր-Ե-Վ-Ա-Ն.

In the city this word appears not only on signs and building facades, but also on street benches. That is a separate kind of Soviet-era urban art, and we will come back to this theme more than once.
