Orgov. Final chapter.

As promised in the previous post, we dug through our photo archives. Not exactly DSLR shots, not that many either, but still worth sharing.

Exactly three years ago we made our first trip to the Orgov telescope. These photos are from the outskirts where not every tourist makes it.

We still shiver remembering the road that brave Alexey drove us along to reach this abandoned site. Snow had already melted down below, but there was still enough on top to give the driver a choice: go slowly and get stuck, or go fast and risk skidding near a cliff.

Formally, we should have obtained entry permission at the institute - one of four buildings near the market. Back then we did not know we would spend more than a year living near this place. We handled it informally.

There were plenty of obstacles. But the reward for overcoming them was worthy.
