About the author
My name is Alina. I am married and have a teenage son. In my previous career, I worked as an accountant and a methodology specialist in accounting and tax reporting. I love drawing and enjoy playing percussion. For many years I worked in large industrial companies. I still consider myself an energy-industry person, because I spent almost 14 years in this field and saw the power of power plants with my own eyes.
Turning point
The years 2020-2023 became a turning point for me: from an ordinary Moscow resident I turned into an adventurer. Leaving behind our small familiar world with our own apartment, stable job, financial cushion, and established routine, we moved to Armenia. My husband transferred to a local hub, I left my job, and became the classic "IT specialist's wife."
