💁♀️ There is one unusual place near Zoravar Andranik metro station - the Yerevan Circus. When we arrived in 2023, we often heard local taxi drivers say: “We are passing the place where the Yerevan Circus used to be - it will happen when pigs fly.”
🙅 The old circus building was demolished in 2012, a new construction started, and then froze. Locals felt the circus “would never happen.” Sadly, many unique Yerevan buildings disappeared this way: the “Corn” house and the watch-factory building, which turned into an abandoned shell.
🧏♀️ But at the end of 2024, a new venue was built on the site of the old one - Tashir Arena.
👻 On the way to the metro, you can meet a whole galaxy of those mannequins. It seems sellers have an unspoken contest for the creepiest one.
