Yerevan metro

Barev everyone! Today we talk about metro 🚇

We never wrote about it before, even though now we use it almost every day.

Yerevan metro has only 11 stations, and it is surprisingly compact.

We are lucky: a ten-minute walk from home there is "Druzhba" station - "Բա-րե-կա-մու-թյուն" (Barekamutyun).
A beautiful long word that means the same in Armenian - friendship.
There will be a separate post about this station: interesting history, very unusual place.

For now, a small bonus.
At Marshal Baghramyan station there are outdoor-style benches, as if someone planned to place them in a park, then changed their mind and moved them underground.

Of course, photos included: the stone bas-relief from Druzhba station wall and those very benches at Marshal Baghramyan station.
