The two years after relocation were very difficult for me. The decision to leave accounting and finance had been maturing for a long time. Even when I worked in energy, doing automation and optimization, I kept looking toward IT.

After we moved, I took a one-year frontend course (separate post about that later). Then Arseniy started teaching me basic algorithms separately. Slowly and with effort, I began writing simple programs. As a pet project, we ideated and vibe-coded an Armenian learning website.

Now I have been a prompt engineer in an educational project for one month. With the rise of large language models, many professions are disappearing, especially those with standard operations that can be easily described and then automated. But new professions are also emerging: there is a growing need to train models and improve services with them. OpenAI made a worldwide revolution almost instantly. We live in interesting times.
